Variational Monte Carlo Calculations of Hypernucleus as PhD student in 2003.
Presently working in Quantum Mean Field, Although we now have built up a basic description of nuclear astrophysical processes, there are nuclear reactions happen with very low probability. The exotic nuclei thought to be significant in nucleosynthesis mostly cannot be made in nuclear experiments. The reaction networks are extremely complicated and happen in extreme, complex environments that are still poorly understood, and are difficult or impossible to reproduce on Earth. Therefore for several mysteries to be uncover in nuclear astrophysics we have to follow the theoretical models. We will need the tool of Relativistic and non-relativistic mean field theory. In RMF our aim will be to study different Lagrangian densities and to compare various theoretical results with experiments and observations. Dirac equation for different system may be obtained by solving the Lagrange equation of different Lagrangian densities. Dirac equation including phenomenological scalar and vector potential provides an excellent starting point from which to describe scattering processes of nucleons on nuclei at intermediate energies. In non-relativistic sector we will explore the power of Skyrme forces in Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov theory to find the ground state properties of Exotic nuclei and nuclei of astrophysical interest
